Swiss Ski & Snowboard School Zermatt
Zermatt's official ski and snowboard school, run from the Snow and Alpine Center on Bahnhofstrasse together with the village's mountain guides. Instructors meet guests up the mountain at the Sunnegga station, and the programme spans first lessons for children and adults, all-mountain coaching, and off-piste and ski touring with certified guides.
Stoked Ski & Snowboard School
Founded in Zermatt in 1994 as one of the resort's first snowboard schools, Stoked now teaches skiing and snowboarding for all ages and levels. Alongside private and small-group lessons it runs the Snowflakes club for young children and its own sports shop in the village.
Summit Ski & Snowboard School
Zermatt's first British-run ski and snowboard school, set up in 2004 for English-speaking visitors. A team of around 30 BASI-qualified instructors teaches in English, German and French, with flexible private lessons whose timings and meeting points are arranged around the guest.
Connect Snowsports
A small independent Zermatt school built around a handpicked team of senior instructors, examiners and trainers qualified to BASI Level 3 and 4. Lessons are fully tailored, with groups capped at six per instructor (four for under-fives) for close personal attention, covering private and group tuition for children and adults from a base on Bahnhofstrasse.
Alpine Ski & Snowboard School Zermatt
Independent Zermatt school on Metzggasse run by Maxime Riviera and David Erba, with a multilingual team teaching ski, snowboard and mono-ski. Lessons are built one to one or in small groups around each guest's level and goals; the school was named Switzerland's Ski School of the Year at the 2022 Travel and Hospitality Awards.
Evolution Ski School
