What to expect

Group classes put you with skiers at a similar level, which makes the day more sociable and keeps the cost down. Class sizes vary by school and week — often around six to ten people, smaller for beginners — and groups are sorted by ability, so nobody spends the morning waiting. Each school sets its own group sizes; ask when you get in touch.
