What to expect

Children's instructors are trained specifically for teaching kids — games, small challenges and plenty of encouragement rather than drills. Classes are grouped by age and ability, with the youngest in fenced ski gardens on gentle ground, away from the main runs. Most schools take children from age four; some run private lessons from three.
