About us
Ski lessons in Switzerland, without the middleman
SkiLessonFinder is a directory that helps tourists find certified ski instructors and ski schools across Switzerland — and message them directly. No booking fees, no commission, no account required.
Why we built it
Booking a ski lesson in a Swiss resort used to mean digging through dozens of school websites in three languages, comparing prices buried in PDFs, and emailing back and forth before you knew if anyone was even available. We grew up skiing in Switzerland and knew there had to be a simpler way for visitors to reach the people who actually teach — the local, certified schools and independent instructors — without a platform taking a cut in the middle.
How it works
Browse ski lessons by resort — Zermatt, Verbier, St. Moritz, Engelberg, Andermatt and more — or by lesson type: private, group, kids, snowboard, off-piste and telemark. When you find a school or instructor that fits, you send a short inquiry in about a minute. They receive it and reply to you directly to arrange dates and payment. We are not in the middle of that conversation and we never handle your money.
Free for skiers, fair for schools
Skiers pay us nothing. Schools and instructors get qualified inquiries from travellers who already know what they want, delivered straight to their inbox — instead of paying commission on every booking. Payment for the lesson happens directly between you and the school, on their terms.
Local and certified
We focus exclusively on Switzerland and list real, established ski schools and instructors. Swiss ski instruction is regulated: full instructors hold Swiss Snowsports qualifications, and the schools we list are ones that operate in their resort. We keep the directory honest — see how we verify listings below.
