How we verify ski schools and instructors

We want you to feel confident about who you contact through SkiLessonFinder. Here is exactly what our listings mean — and what they do not.

  1. 1

    We list real, operating schools

Every ski school and instructor in the directory is a real business or professional that operates in the Swiss resort it is listed under. We research listings from public sources before they appear, so you are never messaging a made-up profile.

  2. 2

    Owners verify their own listing

A listing can be claimed by its owner. When a school or instructor claims their profile, they confirm control of the business email or website tied to it before they can edit prices, lessons and availability. A claimed profile means the information you see is maintained by the school itself.

  3. 3

    Certified by Swiss standards

Ski instruction in Switzerland is regulated. Fully qualified instructors hold Swiss Snowsports certification, and the established schools we list train and employ certified staff. Where a profile lists specific qualifications, they come from the school — we surface them, we do not award them.

  4. 4

    Your inquiry is email-verified

When you send an inquiry we ask you to confirm it with one click in your inbox before it reaches the school. This keeps spam and fake requests away from the schools, so the people you contact take your message seriously and reply faster.

  5. 5

    No payment passes through us

We never take your card details or handle payment. You arrange price and payment directly with the school or instructor, on their terms. That means no booking fee for you and no commission for them.

Being honest about what we can’t guarantee

We are a directory, not the ski school. We do not supervise lessons, set prices, or guarantee availability, and a listing is not an endorsement of any specific outcome. Always confirm the details — date, meeting point, price, insurance and cancellation policy — directly with the school before your lesson. If a listing looks wrong or out of date, tell us at hello@skilessonfinder.com and we will look into it.
